Lucerne Valley Elementary School student Maxwell Stiles was the first place winner of the Lucerne Valley Museum Poster Contest.
School board member Chelsea LaGrange presented Maxwell with a Visa card prize during third trimester awards on May 23. Ms. LaGrange chairs the Open-Air Museum Yard committee for the LV Museum Board and has helped start children’s craft programs and interactive display designs for children at the museum. She also has chaired the “LV Days” family fun day in the park.
Maxwell and his fellow LVES students’ last day of school for the 2018-19 school year was on Friday, May 31.
