Mrs. Dolores Barela, who recently celebrated 45 years as an educator at the Lucerne Valley USD, is featured on a video On KABC7 TV.
Inland Bureau Chief Rob McMillan interviewed Mrs. Barela.
“Generations do change, but they’re all good kids,” Mrs. Barela, the LVES operations assistant, says in the video.
She helps struggling students find their way and move onward and upward.
“She helps us with small discipline problems,” Principal Mrs. Joanna Mora told Mr. McMillan. “She helps with kiddos that just want a little extra love during the day.”
Mrs. Barela has no plans on retiring.
