The elementary school has relocated its bus lane from the parking lot in front of the school to a location inside the school campus and away from the busy highway.
The move will enhance safety and improve campus logistics, according to Principal Joanna Mora. “This change also frees up valuable parking in the front of the school, creating a more efficient traffic flow for students, families, and staff,” she said.
For morning drop off, buses will turn onto Sunset Road, which is perpendicular to Barstow Road, travel westbound, then turn a right onto the new bus lane and travel northward, stopping near the main field on the campus. The reverse will occur when buses take students home after school.
“We appreciate our families' support as we continue making improvements that prioritize safety, efficiency, and a positive experience for everyone on campus,” Mrs. Mora said.
The change will begin when school starts next week.
