Lucerne Valley Elementary School Instructional Aide Destany Cagle was named the Classified Employee of the Month for January by the school district during the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees on January 11.
“Destany Cagle is an awesome employee who works very closely with some of our most challenging yet rewarding students,” said Superintendent Peter Livingston.
With the district for four years, Destany serves as an Instructional Aide with our After School Program.
“She is extremely flexible and can work with any type of student,” Livingston said. “Destany will always go the extra mile to service our students. Destany always has a smile and is willing to jump in where she is needed. She understands that building relationships with our students is the of the utmost importance. Destany is always on time and present for work. Our school is a better place because Destany works here.”
The school board thanked Destany for her service, hard work and dedication during the award presentation.
