Lucerne Valley Elementary Receives California Pivotal Practice Award The California Pivotal Practice Award Program was designed in partnership with our education associations to celebrate districts and schools that have completed an online application highlighting an innovative practice that was implemented during the 2020–21 school year, when California required schools to offer distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dedicated Readers Get Special Incentive — A Petting Zoo On Friday, March 4th, the students who made their Accelerated Reader goal in Kinder-6th grade got to experience a mobile petting zoo as their incentive. AR committee members Krystal Nelson, and Amanda Mayner, came up with the idea to bring the “mini zoo” to the school site.
